Healthy Directions

Those of you who have the dubious privilege of brushing shoulders with me know that for the last 6 months or so I’ve been working to get my act together health-wise.

The journey thus far has been a lot more satisfying than I expected it to be. I started with around 90lbs to lose and have lost 52lbs so far. And yes, it feels pretty darned good.

I’ve been thinking that it’d be a good thing to share what’s worked for me so far and continue to do so as I soldier on from here.

It’ll be a combination thing. I’ll share what I’m doing with my eating and exercise as well as any struggles and lightbulb moments I have along the way. I’ll also post favorite recipes, websites and other resources I’ve found useful.

I don’t have any delusions about being any kind of expert. I do,however, hope that some of what has worked for me would work for someone else as well.
