Back when my kids were wee (oh so wee!), I used to blog fairly regularly. Every once in a while I go back and re-read those posts and am so glad I took the time to write. I love revisiting the "me" I was then and the "we" that my family was.

Yet, somehow, in the years since, I've internalized the belief that I had nothing worth saying. That putting myself out there is too risky, too vulnerable and I stopped writing.

Lately, I've felt God's gentle push toward blogging again. He wants me to - yes - be vulnerable and messy sometimes, but also to be joyful and faith-filled. He wants me to share all of it because we ALL are vulnerable and messy sometimes … and sometimes we're joy-filled and faith-filled and we need to know that we aren't alone in our mess or our celebrations.

Take what encourages you. Ignore the rest. :)
